Travel through the scenic Torrens Gorge to the Barossa Valley and continue over Jacobs Creek for a tasting of the fine wines at the Grant Burge winery and onto Rockford Wine Cellars for more traditional Barossa wines. Stop for a stroll in the German town of Tanunda - many of the shops specialize in crafts made by the locals. After a lunch stop, take in the view from the top of Menglers Hill for an unsurpassed view over the entire Valley. Our next stop will be Henschke winery in Keyneton, a fifth-generation German winery producing outstanding wines. You’ll spend your overnight in a charming B&B in the Adelaide Hills.

The next morning, visit the historic German village of Hahndorf. Taste cheeses from Woodside cheese wrights and fine wines produced by Hillstowe wines. Travel through the Hills to Hardys Chateau Reynella winery, a winery with magnificent gardens to stroll plus wonderful wines to taste. Chateau Reynella is also the historical site where the first wine was made in South Australia. Next, you’ll visit the picturesque town of Clarendon and the Coriole winery, they produce some exceptional unique wine styles. Olive Grove is next on the list specializing in products from locally grown olives. Visit D’arenberg winery with innovative wines made by a fourth-generation family-run winery. After lunch visit the rustic Wirra Wirra winery, one of the premium wine producers in the area. If time permits, we will visit the new boutique Fox Creek Winery.

There are many options for customizing and the tour can be made gourmet food focussed, including chocolate sampling, and visit local artists or visit other smaller wine identities. The opportunity is endless and can be tailor-made to the client.

Visit d'Arenberg winery host to a range of outstanding and innovative wines. Options for lunch include d'Arrys Veranda restaurant, the scenic Currant Shed or alfresco under the vines picnic style. Winery options in the afternoon include Italian wine-style Primo Estate winery, the more rustic Wirra Wirra winery or Penny's Hill which also showcases Australian artists. Tours can also be fully customized and feature more gourmet food focus including exploring the Blessed Cheese Trail, Olive products, locally produced Almonds or Fruitchocs or options to visit less explored smaller wineries.
