Day 2: Kelowna, BC

Today travel across the bridge to West Kelowna, offering beautiful lake views mixed with vineyards and market gardens. Take a wine tour of Quail’s Gate Winery, internationally and nationally recognized as one of the country’s top agri-tourism sites. Enjoy a delicious farm to table lunch at the winery with expansive and picturesque views of the Okanagan Valley. Weather permitting you will be dining al fresco. Then take a short drive to Mission Hill Winery to experience the nature and art of winemaking by walking the lush on-site vineyards and visiting the underground cellars. Sample fine wines by the glass, marvel at the vista and reflect on a process that's almost as old as time itself. Before returning to the hotel stop at the Kelowna Kasugai Japanese Garden, tucked behind City Hall. The garden offers a tranquil environment with traditional elements such as stone lanterns, pine trees, a waterfall and pond.

Overnight: Grand Okanagan Resort (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 3: Day Trip to Summerland, BC

This morning travel to Summerland and board the Kettle Valley Steam Railway, showcasing a unique part of the Okanagan’s and British Columbia’s history. Ride the only preserved section of this historic railway: ten miles of beautiful vistas; from lush orchards and vineyards to a spectacular view of lake and land from the Trout Creek Bridge 238 feet above the canyon floor. The sight and sound of our restored 1912 Steam Locomotive, the 3716, will bring the era alive as you ride along on this 90 minute journey in a vintage passenger coach or open air car. Visit Summerland Sweets, a family owned and operated business with roots in the food processing business since the 1950’s. Try some of their products – syrups, jams, nuts, brittles. Located nearby is the Sleeping Giant Fruit Winery, specializing in table and dessert wines. Travel back to Kelowna with a stop at Summerhill Pyramid Winery promoting organic winemaking through traditional methods. The evening is at your leisure to stroll the waterfront or relax and enjoy the views.

Overnight: Grand Okanagan Resort (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4: Kelowna, BC

This morning we travel just outside Kelowna, to Vernon where lunch is served at Sparkling Hill Resort. Over 3.5 million Swarovski crystal elements emulating the coolness of waterfalls, warmth of fireplaces act as captivating focal points and emanate light and vibrancy. We continue on stopping at Planet Bee Honey Farm and Meadery, just outside Vernon to see the amazing Bee Dance and taste honey and honey products. Then visit Davidson Orchards Country Village, a family owned operation. Get on a Johnny Popper for an orchard tour with a delicious picnic lunch including the orchard’s own apple juice and homemade apple pie. We return to Kelowna tonight for a farewell dinner and one last night at our beautiful hotel on the shores of the lake.
