Day 1: Arrive in Tahiti and on to Bora Bora

Arrive in Papeete where you will take a domestic flight over to the island of Bora Bora. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your resort where the rest of the day is free.

Bora Bora is a volcano set on one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world, a million shades of blue. The huge motu of Bora Bora’s white sand beaches lined with coconut trees encircle the emerald lagoon populated with myriad fish and multi-colored corals.

Day 2 to 5: In Bora Bora, The Tahitian islands

There is much to discover during your time in Bora Bora, an idyliic South Pacific island.

A peaceful haven sitting directly over the lagoon, the overwater bungalow concept is one of ‘must do’ elements of Bora Bora and The Islands of Tahiti. From rooms, suites in floating villas, lose yourself in the colours of the lagoon framed by unforgettable sunsets. Designed and built in traditional Tahitian style, these bungalows offer direct access to the lagoon and are the perfect relaxing getaway.

Bora Bora’s lagoon is an underwater world that hosts manta rays, sharks and gentle Napoleon wrasses, which will welcome you while scuba diving, helmet diving or viewing from a glass-bottom boat. There are many opportunities to explore the lagoon, the motu and the ocean. You can circle the island by water or jump on jetskis or waterskis.

Discover the dozens of shopping areas for art, handicrafts, pearls, and fragrant Tahitian oils and visit the artisan galleries and pick up your own Bora Bora original. Spend the afternoon enjoying famous Matira Beach or the secluded beaches on one of the many islets surrounding Bora Bora. There will be time to snorkel in the clear waters around the resorts, hire a dive master to learn to dive or explore the sunken vessels and coral walls. A sail on a catamaran or deep sea marlin fishing are other options.

Day 6: Depart Bora Bora via Papeete

A farewell to Bora Bora with a transfer back to the airport for your domestic flight back to Papeete.
