Your group will be met on arrival in Auckland by our local representative. Transfer from Auckland International airport to your hotel by private coach and driver. Rooms are pre-registered for immediate check in. There is some free time at leisure to freshen up after the long flight.

This afternoon embark on a sightseeing tour of Auckland city including Queen Street, Americas Cup Viaduct, the panoramic view from Mt Eden, Parnell shops and Rose Gardens. Also included is entry to Kelly Tarltons Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter.
This evening enjoy a 3 Course dinner in Vertigo Restaurant at your hotel.
Depart Auckland and travel south to Villa Maria Winery for a 45 minute guided tour and tastings. (You may wish to purchase a bottle of wine to share with your farm hosts this evening). Villa Maria's Auckland winery is an architecturally award winning complex just minutes from Auckland International Airport, located on a picturesque vineyard park, planted with Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Verdelho vines. The complex plays host to Villa Maria's Head Office, Vineyard Cafe, Cellar Door, bottling facility and Conference and Events Centre.
Continue on to Hamilton and a visit to a local Maize-growing farm near Matangi - details to be advised.
A 2 course local lunch is included before continuing on to Farmstay at Cambridge. Please prepare an overnight bag for farmstay as guests will be transferred to the individual farms by private car. There is a maximum of 4-6 guests per farm. Join in farm activities this afternoon before sharing a traditional Kiwi meal with your hosts.
Rejoin the coach and depart the short distance to Matamata and a fascinating 2 hour guided tour at Hobbiton Movie Set used for "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Discover "Middle-Earth" on the most picturesque private farmland in the North Island. There are spectacular views across the Kaimai Ranges from the rolling green hills of the movie set, which is still a working sheep and beef farm.
Afterwards continue on to Longlands Farm. Kerry Simpson, a third generation New Zealand farmer, with his German born wife Silvia, provide a specialised service to the inbound tour industry in New Zealand, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to view a working Dairy Farm. This offers visitors a chance to hear an enlightened commentary and to learn why New Zealand farmers are so efficient in the livestock and agriculture industry. Longlands Farm offers a unique combination of a working farm and country style restaurant specializing in delicious BBQ or buffet lunches for groups set amongst delightful gardens. The kitchen garden features a large selection of fresh herbs which are incorporated into the menus.
This afternoon continue on to Rotorua which is a driving distance of approximately one hour. Upon arrival enjoy a visit to the highly entertaining Agrodome Farm Show, featuring 19 different breeds of sheep and the antics of working sheep dogs, followed by a tour of the working organic farm. Experience the Authentic Working Farm Tour at the Agrodome. It is great fun, educational and very entertaining from start to finish! In one hour, you will tour our pure New Zealand farm in all-weather, all terrain vehicles. It offers a hands on experience with many exciting close encounters.... you'll meet animals of all descriptions, including Romney sheep, beef cattle, red and fallow deer, llamas, alpacas, ostrich and emus. The guided tour shows you all the ins and outs of our 160 hectare farm. We'll make regular stops along the way so you have a closer look. Your friendly, knowledgeable and experienced tour guide will explain everything and answer any questions you might have.
During the Farm Tour, you will also visit our Pure NZ Organic apple, mandarin orange, olive and kiwi fruit orchard. We'll stop at the Organic Education Centre for kiwifruit juice or wine and honey tasting. 100% pure, 100% New Zealand, not to be missed!
This evening you will enjoy a Maori cultural performance at your hotel, followed by a Maori Hangi dinner. Take a journey back in time to a Pre-European lifestyle experience of customs and traditions. Enjoy the night's festivities as you are treated to a banquet of succulent foods cooked the traditional Maori way.
This morning, after a sightseeing tour of the lakefront and Government Gardens, visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve for a 60 minute guided tour of the reserve featuring boiling mud pools and geysers as well as the NZ Maori Arts and Crafts Institute.
Depart Rotorua for Waitomo, a journey of approximately 2 hours. World renowned and a magnet for both local and overseas visitors, the Waitomo Glow-worm Caves occupy a high placing in almost everyone's New Zealand vacation wish-list. The Waitomo glow-worm, Arachnocampa luminosa, is unique to New Zealand. Thousands of these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light as our expert guides provide informative commentary on the Caves' historical and geological significance. Over your 45 minute guided tour, you'll take in the spectacular Glow worm Cave with its majestic and ornate cave decorations, the deep limestone shaft known as the Tomo and the equally magnificent Cathedral cavern where New Zealand's own opera diva Kiri Te Kanawa once performed. Your tour guide will deliver an informative and entertaining commentary, sharing stories, cultural legends and the natural wonders of this living masterpiece. Your visit concludes with a brief, yet remarkably moving, boat trip through the Glowworm Grotto.
Enjoy a lamb spit roast lunch at Roselands Farm Restaurant before returning to Rotorua and the remainder of the day and evening at leisure.
Check out from hotel and transfer back to Auckland International Terminal (direct route via Cambridge) to check in for your departing flight to Cairns.
You will be met on arrival by a local guide to hand over your documentation and transferred from the airport to your hotel for check-in.
This afternoon we transfer to Tjapukai for buffet lunch followed by a guided tour of the Cultural Centre.
Full day Great Barrier Reef Cruise. This morning, we depart our hotel by Quicksilver Connections and drive north along the scenic Cook's Highway, passing some of the most beautiful beaches in the world to Port Douglas where we embark on the Quicksilver Wavepiercer catamaran and journey to the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, the most spectacular undersea garden in the world. At the Reef, we are at a large platform or raft where we can view the coral in a number of ways. There is a semi-submarine, an underwater viewing platform, an optional helicopter ride or the option of trying a scuba dive (with tank). For most of the group, we strongly recommend that you at least get into the water and try to snorkel. There is nothing more thrilling than being in the sea at the Great Barrier Reef, looking at the colourful fish and coral. The closer you are to reef, the better you are able to enjoy it - brighter colours, etc. The snorkel equipment is free and the staff will assist you in getting fitted and a short "how to" lesson - they provide flotation devices so that even those who don't swim can enjoy this experience. A buffet lunch will be served during the time you are at the reef. Arrive back at Port Douglas Marina, on arrival back at Port Douglas we have a limited amount of time at the Marina before travelling back down the coast line by water on the Quicksilver Wavepiercer, to arrive at Marlin Marina Wharf Cairns, from here we can take an easy walk back to our hotel.
Morning transfer from hotel to Kuranda Rail for one way ride from Caravonica to Kuranda. Time at leisure in Kuranda before returning to Caravonica by Skyrail ride. Upon arrival at Caravonica you will be transferred to the Cairns airport for your departure flight.
On arrival in Brisbane, transfer to your hotel for check in.
This morning transfer from your hotel and join a one and a half hour relaxing cruise on Brisbane River. After the cruise there will be time at leisure for lunch before we transfer to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where you can hand feed koalas and other animals indigenous to Australia. Transfer back to hotel in the afternoon.
Today we commence our overland tour from Brisbane to Sydney via rural Queensland and New South Wales. We transfer to Toogoolawah Feedlot - a large farming operation where livestock are fed a high-energy ration mix of grain and silage in order to fatten them up prior to slaughter. Later we transfer to Blue Droughtmaster Stud Farm where young cattle are bred by the feedlots to produce export beef for Japan. Droughtmaster cattle are Australia's own breed of beef. They are noted for their tick resistance and -survival ability'€. Experience a tour of the property including full behind the scenes with the owners including explanation of the characteristics and breeding capability of the herd. Droughtmaster are a mix of Braham and English/European bloodlines and have a high reproductive fertility rate, related to body condition. After lunch we continue to Goondiwindi for overnight.
Today we travel into New South Wales, and on to Moree for a Town Tour. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch before we travel to Narrabri, the Cotton Capital of Australia. Visit the CSIRO Observatory before we return to Narrabri overnight.
This morning we tour the Cotton Centre before we meet our Host Families and transfer to the host farms for overnight stay.
After breakfast with your host family you will be transferred back to the meeting point to join your coach and driver and continue the tour to Mudgee for a Wine Tasting Tour.
Today you will travel from Mudgee to Sydney via the Blue Mountains. You will enjoy the Scenic Centre and ride on the Scenic Railway or Sceniscender down into the rainforest. Our tickets entitle us to one way Scenic Railway and one way Sceniscender. From there we can enjoy a walk in the forest and views of the beautiful Three Sisters, before heading back into the city, enroute we will go via Sydney Olympic Park, one of the most advanced sporting Stadium in the world. From here we travel back to our hotel. This evening we transfer to dinner at the Sydney Tower Restaurant.
This morning, depart our hotel for the Sydney Opera House. Departure point for our guided tour at the Information Counter, located in the main box office foyer of the Sydney Opera House. This 60 minute tour offers the opportunity to experience the Sydney Opera House in its daily operation. Be guided through theatres, given a fascinating account of the history & architecture of the House. Note: There are approx 200 steps in this tour, so comfortable shoes are recommended. On completion of our guided tour, you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Sydney.
