From humble beginnings, the proudly New Zealand owned and operated company has evolved into a world-class facility, offering guests a unique and fun-filled experience.
Enjoy a guided tour of the southern sky. Perched high above Queenstown and surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Skyline Queenstown provides the perfect location to access a 'hidden world' not seen by the naked eye, and impossible to see from many other locations around the globe. Our knowledgeable and experienced stargazing guides will meet you at the top of the Gondola before leading you up Bob’s Peak where, with our powerful telescopes, you can be amazed by what you see.

Tours will run every night and start from 6:00 pm in winter to 10:45 pm in the summer months. Allow two hours in total, including Gondola transit time. Please arrive at the base of the Gondola at least 30min prior to start time. A Canada Goose jacket will be provided for the duration of the tour. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable walking shoes.
Don’t worry if the seeing conditions are poor as you will enjoy a Journey through the Night Sky in the Moonlight Theatre using state-of-the-art technology and projection. This Stargazing experience takes place indoors and you will enjoy a beer/wine or soft drink of your choice from the bar, together with a selection of snacks from our snack bar.
