Canadian Museum of Nature
Canada is all about nature, and no trip to Ottawa is complete without a visit to the Canadian Museum of Nature, a historic “castle” in downtown Ottawa. Minutes from Parliament Hill, the museum features world-class galleries representing Canada’s diverse nature. See iconic mammals of Canada shown in their natural habitats, Canada’s original collection of dinosaur fossils, a blue whale skeleton, the largest collection of Canadian birds on display and an amazing variety of rocks and minerals. Immerse yourself in Canada's Arctic in the new Canada Goose Arctic Gallery! Outside, explore three of Canada's ecozones in the Landscapes of Canada Gardens. 3D movies, special exhibitions and guided tours (by reservation, minimum 15 people) are also available.
